Miry Cohen Hoffman

Miry Cohen Hoffman was born and grew up in Israel.

In the 1980s and 1990s, she worked as a teacher educator in an elementary school.

In the late 1990s, After the birth of her youngest son, she was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer.

The disease started after she was in a difficult mental and emotional stress due to family problems.

She was treated with difficult chemotherapy treatments accompanied by many side effects until she could ​no longer take it and decided to stop the treatments and take care of herself spiritually through positive ​thoughts, meditations and guided imagery.

She decided to leave the teaching profession, and study law in English which is not her mother tongue.

Following this, she changed her life dramatically. She recovered from the cursed disease, and at the same ​time became a lawyer.

A few years later she started dealing in real estate and became a successful real estate entrepreneur in Israel ​and USA, until she decided to move to USA.

In US she met her husband, Steve, who also cancer survivor.

About a decade ago, her older son got cancer as well. The family went through another emotional situation ​and mental stress until her son also recovered from the damn disease thanks to a lot of faith, willpower and ​positive thoughts.

Over the years, she has held several interviews and told her fascinating personal story. These days she is ​writing a book and she tells her story hopefully to be an inspiration for childern and their families who ​challenge with cancer.

Currently, she lives with her husband, Steve, in Fort Myers, Florida.

Following her family's extraordinary story, she searched for ways to help people with cancer, especially ​childrern, and she established, with her husbent Steve, a non-profit organization called:” Makes Memories ​Together on The Water” on purpose to take childern and their families who challenge with cancer on a boat ​around Southern Florida (Caloosahatchee River) and Florida Keys for fun, Relaxation, and release.

After going through many obstacles in her life and succeeding in them, she is now interested in acting for ​society and helping illness children and their families, even a little, Through a relaxing cruise on the Florida ​coast and keys.

Steve Hoffman was born and grew up in Michigan.

As a child he moved with his family to several countries around the world due to his father's military ​service.

Steve worked as a horse trainer more than 45 years. His occupation involved horse riding lessons and ​Equine Therapy as a mental health treatment for children.

His attraction love to the sea and the ocean led him to move from the land horses to the sea horses as a ​Captain sailing a boat around Florida.

Steve had cancer and recovered with a lot of faith and willpower. Following his illness and his persistent ​struggle against it, he understands very well how cancer patients deal with the cursed disease.

He lives with his wife, Miry, in Fort Myers, Florida.

His recovery led him, with his wife Miry, to establish a non-profit organization- called:” Makes ​Memories Together on The Water” for childern and their families who challenge with cancer to take ​them on boat in Florida for fun, Relaxation, and release.

The non-profit organization is an acting for society and helping illness children and their families, even ​a little, Through a relaxing cruise on the Florida coast and keys.
